Join us for a casual "birdy" day talking about birds, bird studies, and birding.
There will be a wide variety of talks, some with connections to our location. The topics include Portage County birds, Greater Prairie-chickens and the Central Wisconsin Grassland Conservation Area, Kestrel research in Central Wisconsin, a Kirtland’s Warbler project, a study on the illegal killing of large birds, bird parasites, eBird for beginners, more advanced eBird for current eBird users, and gardening to help birds in winter.
Everyone will have chances to participate, chat and network during the day.
Walk-ins are welcome, but we may not be able to provide you with a lunch. Please bring cash or check for payment.
If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Lazewski at executive.director@wsobirds.org or 262-204-7242
We look forward to seeing you there!
