WSO Field Trip - Mead Wildlife Area

This trip will include a combination of car caravan and some light walking. Highlights include an assortment of waterfowl, Greater Prairie-Chickens, Lapland Longspurs, as well as some early spring migrants such as Winter Wren, sparrows (Fox, Vesper, Swamp), Yellow-rumped Warblers, and other songbirds. Please note that pre-registration on the WSO website is now required for field trip attendees, which includes the signing of waivers. Trip details will be emailed to registrants upon registration.
